Hi everyone. I hope everyone had a great spring break. We've been crazy busy in class this week. Today we played a fun game using words with the /ou/ sound. It was just like charades and we had a lot of laughs and lots of fun with it. Luckily we went right to lunch afterwards because I could have never settled them down.
Directions were sent home for our biographies. Remember your child's famous person has to have impacted history. I gave the class the example that Bobby Orr was a great athlete but a bad choice because he didn't really impact history. Although someone like Jackie Robinson was a great athlete who DID. We have library on Thursday and I'm hoping the children will be able to find books to help with their research.
